Why we built BridgeTrade
Ask a Halifax contractor where their week goes and you'll hear the same answer: driving to quote jobs for free. Three unpaid estimate visits to win one job is normal, and the fuel and hours come straight out of the work that actually pays.
Homeowners aren't having a better time. Booking three separate estimate visits means three afternoons at home, a week of phone tag, and no simple way to compare what you're being quoted.
BridgeTrade was built to remove the driving from both sides. A repair is posted once with photos, a short video, and structured answers about the problem — enough for two or three verified local pros to price it remotely. The homeowner compares the quotes side by side and books; the contractor quotes from the truck and only pays us once they've been paid.
